Ivan Perisic put in a solid display on the left in Inter’s goalless draw away to Genoa yesterday evening despite the failure of the team as a whole, according to Italian media.

The Croat received decent scores in the player ratings for the match across Italian media, as highlighted by L’Interista, with the 33-year-old rated to have been more impactful than most of his teammates.

Perisic looked like the player he has all season against the Griffone, bombing up and down the left flank, regularly seeking to combine with teammates to get into the penalty areas and putting a few decent deliveries.

It was not one of the Croat’s most eye-catching displays of the campaign by any means, but in the view of Italian media he emerged with more credit than many of his teammates who were more at fault for the drab attacking display.

Perisic received a 6.5/10 grade for his display from the Gazzetta dello Sport and a 6/10 from Tuttosport, TuttoMercatoWeb, and the Corriere dello Sport, whilst L’Interista were slightly more critical in giving him a 5.5/10 score.
