Inter are getting closer to agreeing a contract extension with Ivan Perisic, with the deal likely to see the player earn around €4.5 million net per season.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are optimistic that they will be able to extend the Croat’s deal past the end of June.
Perisic’s form this season has made finding an agreement with the 33-year-old on a new deal a priority for the Nerazzurri, although it hasn’t always looked clear that he would be ready to agree a new deal.
However, the players has become very open to the possibility of extending his contract, which is currently set to run out at the end of June, and this represents important progress in the talks.
The club and player still have to find an agreement on wages, but the negotiations could see them arrive at a figure of around €4.5 million net per season on a two-year deal.
