Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi must find something to spark his attack to a Scudetto challenge similar to when Roberto Mancini got the best out of Mario Balotelli in the run-in of the 2007-08 season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who argue that the coach must focus on having a Plan B that can be the catalyst for an overall upturn in form, particularly in attack.

Former Nerazzurri coach Mancini was without star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic during some of the most important matches of the title race with Roma in the spring of 2008.

However, the coach showed complete faith in Balotelli, and the young striker rewarded him with the performances that were needed to fire the team to a league title.

Inzaghi does not necessarily have a player like this in his ranks, having never really trusted Martin Satriano who is now in fine form on loan with Brest.

However, the coach does have Joaquin Correa coming back from injury, while the experienced Felipe Caicedo is also ready to contribute regularly.

What is needed from the coach is to figure something out in attack with the players he has available now that the tried and true attacking formula from earlier in the campaign looks to have dried up somewhat.
