Inter are determined to make Tuesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final clash with AC Milan the match in which they turn their fortunes around for good this season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming to make the semi-final match a spark to get out of their slump in form.

Inter have endured some of their worst results of the campaign in February, but one bright spot was progression into the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.

CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio have appeared at the training ground to emphasize calm and staying the course ahead of Tuesday’s massive derby clash in the competition.

The team know that they can instantly put their recent struggles behind them with a win in the competition, and will look to play their strongest side in the match.

The only doubt that remains for the clash as far as selection looks to be on the right, where Matteo Darmian could take the place of Denzel Dumfries, but after the Dutchman fared well against Theo Hernandez in the league derby, he is favourite to start.
