Inter and AC Milan look to both be targeting the likes of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca and Empoli defender Mattia Viti.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the city rivals are set to go head-to-head for the pair of young Italians off the pitch as they also square off in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.

Scamacca looks to be one of the Nerazzurri’s main targets for the summer transfer window, with the young striker seen as the right player to reinforce their attack for seasons to come.

However, the Rossoneri are also closely following the 23-year-old, though it could be Inter who have the advantage for his signature due to CEO Beppe Marotta’s good relations with the Neroverdi.

Meanwhile, young Empoli defender Viti is reportedly being scouted by both teams as a potential target for the future as both sides look to build around young Italian players.
