The only selection debate in the mind of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi ahead of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against AC Milan is between Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian on the right.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach will look to play his strongest starting eleven and that only the right wing-back position looks to be up for grabs.

Dumfries has been the regular starter on the right for much of 2022, though the coach could also decide to turn to the experienced Darmian for the match, potentially to give the team more defensive solidity.

Meanwhile, the likes of Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are set to start in attack, whilst the usual first-choice midfield trio of Hakan Calhanoglu, Marcelo Brozovic, and Nicolo Barella should also start.

Ivan Perisic will take his usual place on the left, though new boy Robin Gosens could make his debut from the bench.
