Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi expects that wing-back Robin Gosens and forward Joaquin Correa will be fit and available for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia clash with AC Milan.

Speaking to InterTV, the coach explained that both of the pair are recovered from injury and should be called up for the match to face the Rossoneri.

Gosens has been out with injury since joining Inter from Atalanta during the January transfer window, having also missed part of the season with his former club.

Meanwhile, Correa has been out since picking up a hamstring problem in the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli in January.

Both of the duo have been getting close to fully recovering, and the coach has confirmed that they are ready to make their returns and should likely be part of the squad to face Milan in tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg.

“They’ve recovered,” he said of the pair, “their condition is improving every day. We’ve yet to complete today’s training, and I think they can be called up tomorrow after a long time out.”

Of the match, he said that “It will certainly be a beautiful showpiece occasion for Milan, but our focus must clearly be on the pitch and our performance.”

“This must increase the sense of responsibility for us to prepare for this match at our absolute best,” he added.

“I think it will be a battle where everyone will try to prevail,” he added, “but at the same time mentality and motivation will make the difference.”
