Inter had a scout at yesterday evening’s Ligue 1 clash between Lille and Lyon to watch Lille duo Jonathan David and Zeki Celik.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that a Nerazzurri scout was on hand to observe the performances of the pair who have both been targets for some time.

David is one of the main names on Inter’s list of potential targets in attack, with the 22-year-old’s form for club and country having marked him out as a player who can grow into a top striker.

Lille are hoping that with a number of clubs interested in the Canadian an auction will take place in the summer, which could see the striker’s valuation rise to €50-60 million.

Should the fee for David end up being this much then it’s less likely that the Nerazzurri would be ready to move for him, but they are nevertheless closely following his situation.

Meanwhile, Celik is another player who Inter have been targeting for some time as a possibility on the right, and even though he is not a major target at the moment, his performance was still followed by the scout.
