Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic is becoming more and more open to the possibility of staying at Inter past the summer and extending his contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old looks to be changing his mind about leaving the club at the end of his current deal.

Perisic’s contract expires at the end of June, and with the player and club far apart in their demands and offers on a renewal, it has looked as though the Croat would leave in the summer.

However, the player’s form has been one of the standouts among Inter’s team this season, and the club have pushed to try and agree a renewal with him, accelerating talks last month.

More and more, it looks as though the Croat is inclined to try and agree a new deal with the Nerazzurri rather than seeking to join a different club in the summer.
