Forward Alexis Sanchez is set to start for Inter in Friday’s Serie A clash with Salernitana, which could see coach Simone Inzaghi make wholesale changes to his team.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who also report that the likes of Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino could start the match in midfield.

Federico Dimarco could come into the defense as Inzaghi looks to freshen up his team and give players a rest amid continued congestion in the fixture list.

Meanwhile, in midfield Hakan Calhanoglu could be given a rest from the start, with one of Gagliardini or Vecino likely to be the ones to take his place in the team.

Arturo Vidal is not likely to start the match as he will start in place of the suspended Nicolo Barella against Liverpool next week, whilst Barella is almost certain to start as he will not be playing against the Reds.
