Edin Dzeko wasn’t at his best in Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg draw against AC Milan, but he was the closest thing that the team had to a consistent presence in attack.

This according to the player ratings from Italian media for the match, as reported by L’Interista, which argue that while the Bosnian struggled in isolation he at least made himself available for his teammates.

Dzeko has not been in as bad of form as his usual strike partner Lautaro Martinez, but the 35-year-old has nevertheless struggled at times over the past few weeks.

Against the Rossoneri, the striker was largely well-marshalled by the Rossoneri’s centre-backs, and failed to create any real danger or find Martinez, although he did come the closest to getting on the end of a dangerous chance of any of his teammates.

The Corriere dello Sport gave the Bosnian a 5/10 grade for his display, whilst TuttoMercatoWeb and L’Intersita felt that his performance was worthy of 5.5/10 and the Gazzetta dello Sport went as high as 6/10.
