Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to make a number of changes to his starting eleven for Friday’s Serie A clash with Salernitana, and could hand starts to Andrea Ranocchia and Matteo Darmian.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who also report that the coach will give more minutes to the likes of Joaquin Correa and Robin Gosens during the match.

Inter played with their strongest team on paper against AC Milan in yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, and the coach will make rotations against Salernitana given the evident tiredness in the squad amidst this busy period.

Stefan de Vrij could be given a rest with Ranocchia starting in his place against Salernitana, whilst Darmian is ready to start in place of Denzel Dumfries, among other rotations that the coach is considering.

Meanwhile, Correa and Gosens are both likely to play during the match after having made their returns from injury against the Rossoneri yesterday.
