Sassuolo striker and Inter target Gianluca Scamacca has already announced himself at the San Siro, and is especially proud of the goal that he scored against the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan.

Speaking to Italian football magazine Inside Serie A, as reported by FCInter1908, the 23-year-old named his strike to kick off a 3-1 comeback victory against away to the Rossoneri as his favourite goal he’s scored so far.

Scamacca is still young and is likely to have a long career and score many more goals, but he has already made a significant impact for a player of his age, with this season being his most impressive yet.

The Neroverdi striker has helped his team to wins against both Inter and Milan at the San Siro, getting on the scoresheet in both matches, with his goal against the latter an especially memorable strike.

Scamacca is not likely to stay at Sassuolo for much longer given the reputation that he has already built for himself, and the Nerazzurri are one of the clubs with the strongest interest in his signature.

Should he make the switch in the summer, then he’ll join having already opened his account at San Siro, and the Nerazzurri will hope that he can score at the stadium many more times, and keep up the habit of scoring against the Rossoneri.

“My most beautiful goal was the one I scored at San Siro against Milan, I would never have dreamed of scoring a goal like that,” he said. “I hit it just the way I wanted to.”

He also mentioned of former Inter and current AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic that “Being compared with Ibra is a source of pride, he’s a top player, I think among the top strikers out there.”
