Milan Skriniar has been named as Inter’s best performer in yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg draw with AC Milan.

The Slovenian was given a 7/10 grade for his performance in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who particularly praise him for his handling of Rossoneri forward Rafael Leao.

Skriniar lost Leao once, but otherwise constantly did enough to keep the Portuguese from really gaining momentum or getting away any dangerous shots at goal.

Meanwhile, striker Lautaro Martinez was named as the Nerazzurri’s worst performer on the night, receiving a grade of just 4.5/10 for his subpar display.

Skriniar’s two defensive partners Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni received 6.5/10 grades for their displays, as did left wing-back Ivan Perisic, whilst coach Simone Inzaghi was given a score of 5.5/10 for a tactical display in which his team failed to really assert themselves on the match.
