Napoli are working to sign Genoa wing-back Andrea Cambiaso during the summer despite the interest from Inter.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Partenopei will look to meet about signing the 21-year-old today or tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri have already met with the Griffone as well as with Cambiaso’s entourage about a possible move for the young wing-back, who is a target to reinforce their left side in the event that Ivan Perisic leaves the club.

However, Napoli have also emerged as major suitors for the player, and they are working to get a deal over the line for him quickly.

Atalanta have also been strongly linked to Cambiaso as they look to move on from Robin Gosens, who joined Inter during the January transfer window, but it looks as though both they and the Nerazzurri could miss out on the player to the Napoli who are working fast.
