Inter have identified a young Danish midfielder at Lecce who could reinforce the midfield along with Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand has caught the attention of the Nerazzurri directors and they may attempt to bring him to the club in the summer.

The Dane has been very impressive for Lecce and has helped them reach a point where they are one of the favourites to gain promotion to Serie A for next season.

He has also been playing regularly for the Under 21s division of his national team which means he has more football experience than many other players in his age group.

It is not just Inter that have noticed his impressive performances, Premier League clubs are also hot on the tail of the 22-year-old midfielder who has played 26 Serie B games this season.
