Inter forward Lautaro Martinez would not hesitate to play for Argentina later this month if asked by Lionel Scaloni, according to a report in the Argentinian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Tyc Sports in Argentina, the Inter striker is almost certainly going to go and play for his country at the end of March despite Inter’s wishes for him not to.

As was reported earlier today, Inter will soon be asking both Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa not to make the trip to face Venezuela and Ecuador at the end of the month if they are asked because they have already qualified for the World Cup in Qatar.

Inter would rather that the two strikers remained in Italy and focused on helping Inter defend their title. It is also relevant that the first game after they will have travelled back from South America is the match against Juventus.
