Former Inter defender Daniele Adani has said that he thinks Inter can recover their form when it matters most, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Daniele Adani explained that it is natural for Inter to have had a dip in form after playing so well for two thirds of the season.

“For two thirds of the season Inzaghi’s group has done something extraordinary. Now they have a natural dip in form, almost understandable due to fatigue.”

Inter have not scored in their last four matches and have lost the chance to build a sizeable lead over the Serie A title chasing rivals.

Daniele Adani feels that they have still been producing chances and that is why they will still be able to recover and win the Serie A title again.

“They struggle to score, but if we leave aside the Coppa Italia derby, they have always produced a lot in attack and they have not lost their identity. This is why I think they can recover their form when it counts.

“Here, the crucial challenge for Inter will be the one against Juve in the direct match: a test of self-esteem will be needed, because those who feel strong are not afraid of those who are behind.”

Many feel that Juventus are now back in the Serie A title race and the signing of Dusan Vlahovic in January was certainly a big part of that.

Daniele Adani feels they have the best squad along with Inter, saying: “As I have always said since Vlahovic’s arrival, Juve, due to the strength and depth of the squad, not only can but must aim for the Scudetto. Juve have the best-equipped squad with Inter.”
