Juventus President Andrea Agnelli thinks that Premier League sides will not pull out of the Super League plans again, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, Andrea Agnelli is now awaiting the decision of the European Court of Justice regarding the appeal of the Court of Madrid against UEFA’s position on the new plans.

The decision will not arrive for a few more months but Andrea Agnelli yesterday reiterated at a forum organised by the Financial Times that the Super League is needed to prevent the economic collapse of football.

He also stressed that the new tournament would not clash with the national competitions that the teams already play in.

The original project fell apart when the English started to pull out but he is convinced that they will now stand by Inter and the other teams once the project is resubmitted.
