Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be fit to face Salernitana at San Siro tonight despite fears that he may be injured, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, those who watched Inter train at Appiano Gentile on Thursday were alarmed when they saw that Marcelo Brozovic had a bandage underneath one of his knees.

It has since been revealed that this is just left over from a cut he suffered during the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against AC Milan on Tuesday night. He will be fit and is expected to start in the match against Salernitana tonight.

As for Ivan Perisic, his fellow Croatian in the squad, he will be rested as he has played many tough games in close succession.

It is expected that either Matteo Darmian or Federico Dimarco will be filling in on the left wing for Ivan Perisic.
