Salernitana sporting director Walter Sabatini has said that his side are travelling to Milan to beat Inter on Friday night, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media yesterday night.

Speaking during an interview with Sky Sport, via FCInternews, Walter Sabatini talked about how he does not spend time thinking about the poor form that Inter are in right now.

He is only concerned with the fact that his team can go to Milan and try to win the game because of their desire and their ability.

“Obviously I do not think about the crisis of Inter, but I do think about my players and the great work of the coach. I refer to their qualities, not to the depression of Inter which is a normal adjustment of natural condition during a year so important and stressful for the number of games.

“Let’s go and win in Milan. I’m not saying that because I think Inter are in crisis, but I rely on the great desire of our players to get out of this situation.”

Salernitana are the team at the bottom of the Serie A table and have been for effectively the entire season. They have drawn their last four games but must start winning games very soon if they are to stay in the division.

Inter meanwhile know that a win would see them go top of the Serie A table, at least until Napoli and AC Milan play each other.
