This long and serious conversation is the reason why the team has not been put into ritiro ahead of the game against the side at the bottom of the table.
Simone Inzaghi also spoke to the directors at Inter and everyone reiterated that the goal for this season is to win the Scudetto rather than just qualify for the Champions League.
It was also made clear to the players that no one has a guaranteed place in the team.
