Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is in good spirits and very much feels a part of the team despite not having appeared during the Nerazzurri’s 5-0 win over Salernitana yesterday evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Chilean was at the heart of the celebrations of the result despite not having taken to the pitch during the match.

Sanchez has made himself a regular in the Nerazzurri’s team, whether from the start or from the bench, since around November.

The 33-year-old has expressed his frustration at times earlier in the season about not having a prominent role in the team, but has largely earned a spot in the team with some of his recent performances.

However, Sanchez was neither in the starting eleven nor a substitute during yesterday’s match, as he watched his teammates get their first win in four matches in Serie A.

However, unlike with earlier in the campaign, the Chilean was not unhappy with the situation, and has felt very much a part of the celebrations.
