Alejandro Camano, agent of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, has confirmed that the 24-year-old wants to continue winning trophies with the Nerazzurri.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, the agent gave an update on Martinez’s desire for the future at Inter, and also reflected on the player’s recent form.

Martinez announced his return to form in style with his well-taken hat-trick against Salernitana to inspire the team to a 5-0 win.

The Argentine had not been anywhere close to his best over the past few weeks, but he showed what he’s capable of, having already become an important player in the team especially last season when he helped Inter to the Scudetto.

There is no shortage of suitors for Martinez’s signature among top European clubs, even after his bad spell of form, but the striker’s agent has made clear that he has no desire to leave.

Of the Argentine’s recent slump in front of goal, he said that “Lautaro was very angry. He was angry with how the ball just didn’t want to go into the net.”

“It was an extremely delicate moment for a guy who cares a lot about the colours he plays for,” he continued.

Camano said that “Yesterday I followed the match with close attention. We’re all very happy because it was a fantastic evening thanks to his goals, and the possibility of putting that anger behind him, those matches without finding the back of the net.”

Of Martinez’s intentions for the future, he said that “He’s staying with Inter – he has a five-year contract, he feels like an Interista, Inter are the team of his heart.”

“He feels like one more fan,” the agent explained, “his family are as well. They enjoy their life in Milan. I can say with certainty, there is no possibility that Lautaro will leave Inter. He’s very keen to win with these colours.”
