Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca has no interest in making a move to either AC Milan or Napoli in the summer as he has chosen Inter as his preferred destination.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla on Gazzetta.it, via FCInter1908, who reports that the 23-year-old has already made a switch to the Nerazzurri his priority for the summer transfer window.
Scamacca’s form for Sassuolo this season has attracted the interest of a number of top clubs both within Serie A and elsewhere in Europe.
The Rossoneri and the Partenopei are both among the young striker’s possible suitors, but according to Pedulla, he has no intention of joining either team as his intention is to sign for Inter.
Pedulla also went into some detail on the possible figures that could be involved in getting a deal done for the striker for the Nerazzurri.
“The moves by the Rossoneri and the Azzurri are not enough to change the mind of the young striker playing under Donisi, who has his plan mapped out,” he said.
“Scamacca has chosen Inter,” he went on, “which they fully reciprocate, we know the figure (€40 million), which could be knocked down a bit with the inclusion of at least one player going the other way.”
He explained that “The situation would only change if Inter decided that they were no longer interested as they have definitely been since August.”
“And since there are no hints that this would be the case, Napoli and Milan will have to look elsewhere,” he said.
