Ivan Perisic To Be Fit For Inter’s Champions League Clash With Liverpool, Italian Media Report

Ivan Perisic will not be out injured for Inter’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg away to Liverpool.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the muscle injury which caused the Croat to miss yesterday evening’s Serie A win over Salernitana will not rule him out of the trip to face the Reds.
Perisic pulled up with a slight muscle problem moments before yesterday evening’s Serie A clash with Salernitana, with Matteo Darmian taking his place on the left.
It was not initially clear whether the injury would be serious enough to cause him to miss Tuesday’s massive second leg against the Reds, but this should not be the case as the problem is a minor one and he is expected to be fully fit in time.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta also reports that Simone Inzaghi is increasingly considering playing Roberto Gagliardini from the start in place of the suspended Nicolo Barella rather than Arturo Vidal, who started the first leg.
