Striker Luis Suarez looks set to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, and Inter are among the clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer.

This according to Spanish news outlet Marca, who report that the Nerazzurri, along with the likes of Ajax, Sevilla, and a number of clubs in Brazil, are closely following the 35-year-old’s situation in the Spanish capital.

The two-year contract which Suarez signed with the Colchoneros when he joined from Barcelona in the summer of 2020 is set to expire at the end of June, and the club have not yet offered an extension.

It remains to be seen what the Spanish champions will decide to do with the striker’s situation, but should they not offer him an extension then he will be available on a free transfer.

The Uruguayan’s former club Ajax are interested in signing him should this be the case, whilst Inter are also seriously considering the possibility, and Sevilla could keep him in La Liga.
