Inter-owned defender Zinho Vanhesuden is continuing to deal with muscle injuries during his spell on loan with Genoa this season.

This according to today’s print edition of Genoa-based newspaper Il Secolo XIX, who report that the Belgian is growing frustrated with the continued injury setbacks.

Vanhesuden joined the Grifone on loan after returning to Inter on a permanent basis from Standard Liege during last summer transfer window.

The hope has been that the 22-year-old would gain experience within the Italian top flight, and for much of the season he has had a regular place in the starting eleven for the Ligurian team.

However, in recent weeks Vanhesuden has been out of action with a series of muscle problems, something which he also dealt with during his team at Standard, and the injuries are threatening to put a temporary halt to his progress during what has been a promising season for him.
