Inter President Steven Zhang will travel with the squad to be at Anfield for their Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Liverpool.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the team will be accompanied by the President as well as 2500 Nerazzurri fans as they look to overturn the 2-0 deficit from the first leg.

Zhang has not travelled for a European away fixture since the Nerazzurri were in the Europa League final against Sevilla in Cologne on August 21, 2020, which they lost 3-2 in a dramatic match.

However, tomorrow’s Champions League clash with the Reds is one of the club’s most significant European matches in a long time, and the President wants to be there to witness it and support the team.

The usual delegation of directors will also be there along with Zhang and the travelling fans who will do everything they can to urge the team on amid the hostile atmosphere at Anfield as they aim to complete a massively difficult comeback.
