Inter are set to depart from Italy this afternoon, and they will visit Anfield ahead of their massive Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Liverpool.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will be on their way at around 5:00 PM CET as they leave for the massive European away fixture in Europe.

Inter have a mountain to climb if they are to reverse the 2-0 deficit from the first leg against Liverpool last month, having put in a very encouraging display but showing a bit of defensive naivete and lack of killer instinct in front of goal.

Now, the Nerazzurri must travel to one of the most hostile away stadiums for a big European fixture, and their task will be much different than it was playing in front of their own fans at the San Siro.

The team will make a visit to Anfield to get a feel for the stadium, so that the intimidation factor can be reduced as much as possible in what already promises to be a very formidable task.
