Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic has made a full recovery from the minor muscle strain which kept him out of Friday’s Serie A win over Salernitana.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Croat will be 100% fit for tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Liverpool.

Perisic had to pull out at the last moment before Friday’s clash with Salernitana, with the 33-year-old having picked up a minor muscle injury whilst warming up.

However, the problem had not been a significant one and extensive testing was not needed, while the player’s recovery has been a swift one.

Now, Perisic is all ready to take his place on the left in tomorrow’s must-win Champions League round of sixteen second leg against the Reds, and he will be fully fit to play from the start as the Nerazzurri work to try and overturn a 2-0 gap from the first leg.
