Alexis Sanchez could start in attack for Inter in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Liverpool.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 33-year-old could play from the start alongside Lautaro Martinez, with Edin Dzeko dropping to the bench.

Martinez and Dzeko started in the first leg at the San Siro, as the Nerazzurri’s usual strike partnership, but coach Simone Inzaghi is increasingly considering handing a start to Sanchez in the second leg this evening.

Meanwhile, Sky also report that Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp could also decide to make a notable change in attack, with one of Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane potentially dropping to the bench.

The Reds coach could decide to start with both Diogo Jota and Luiz Diaz in attack, with one of Mane or Salah starting alongside them and the other dropping to the bench from the first leg.
