Former AC Milan head coach Fabio Capello believes that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is having to deal with other coaches in Serie A beginning to understand his tactical approach.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the former coach gave the view that other coaches have been closely studying the Nerazzurri boss’s ideas and planning ways to counteract Inter’s style of play.

The Nerazzurri have transitioned well to Inzaghi’s preferred style of play this season, and the coach has managed to orchestrate a number of emphatic wins with the team all buying into his ideas.

However, at points especially in recent matches, the Nerazzurri have struggled to cope with opposition pressure, with teams like Genoa and Sassuolo effectively negating their movements in possession.

Capello believes that this has come as a result of opposition coaches following how the team has played under Inzaghi and taking measures to restrict the effectiveness of his ideas, stating that “the other coaches are starting to study his ideas and take countermeasures.”
