Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi could decide to rely on the physical freshness of Alexis Sanchez against Liverpool this evening after the Chilean was left out against Salernitana.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the coach is ready to start the Chilean who looks to be fresh and intense after not appearing in Friday’s Serie A win.

Sanchez did not play against Salernitana either from the start or from the bench, watching on as his teammates got back to winning ways in emphatic fashion.

However, this has meant that the 33-year-old could be one of the most physically fresh players in the team, and for this reason the coach looks to be leaning towards starting him in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg.

Inzaghi could be hoping that a physically fresh Sanchez gives his attack and edge in terms of energy and incisiveness.
