Inter head coach Simone Inzgahi has made a point to brush off the suggestion that his team are favourites to win the Serie A title.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the coach has responded to the idea of his AC Milan counterpart Stefano Pioli by trying to take the pressure off of his team.

The Scudetto race increasingly looks like a two-horse race between AC Milan and Inter after the Rossoneri beat Napoli on Sunday, though the likes of Napoli, Juventus, and Atalanta could still be in it.

After his team’s victory over the Partenopei, Pioli gave the view that Inter are still the team to beat in Serie A, especially with their game in hand which ensures that their fate is still in their hands.

However, Inzaghi does not feel that the Nerazzurri should be viewed in this way, and made clear that for him everything is there to play for.
