Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic has reached a settlement to pay €2,000 to a fan from Brescia over a confrontation after a match in 2018.

This according to today’s print edition of Brescia-based newspaper Giornale di Brescia, who report that the 33-year-old has reached the settlement to avoid trial over an incident in which he had threatened and insulted a fan who had taunted him after the 2018 loss at home to Sassuolo.

Inter had lost 2-1 to the Neroverdi in a match in May of 2018, and after the match one fan in particular had provoked Perisic with taunts, with the Croat responding with verbal threats and insults.

The fan had initially been handed a three-year ban from entering or approaching the San Siro, but on appeal this was lifted.

Perisic has settled with the fan in order to avoid going to trial over the incident, and will pay the fan a total amount of €2,000.
