Former AS Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio has said that the current Serie A title race is very fun and had praise for the three main teams involved in it, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with Footballnews24.it, Julio Sergio said that he cannot remember the last time that the Italian top-flight has had three teams of this current quality all competing evenly for the Scudetto.

“I don’t remember when the Italian league last had three teams of this level competing for the title.”

He then went on to say that it will be fun to watch the fight pan out over the final two or three months of the season, praising the importance and competitiveness of the teams involved.

“It will certainly be fun to watch, even if the defeat against the Rossoneri made Napoli lose an important opportunity. As mentioned, they are three important and competitive clubs, I will have fun seeing until the end who will win.”

The three teams at the top of the table in order are AC Milan, Inter, and Napoli. The Rossoneri have got 60 points so far, Inter are in 58, and Napoli are on 57. A key factor in this title fight is that Inter have played a game less.
