Inter remain confident that Marcelo Brozovic will be fit enough to face Torino on Sunday evening despite training differently from the main group on Thursday, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport this evening, via FCInternews, the Croatian midfielder picked up an injury towards the end of the Champions League exit against Liverpool on Tuesday night at Anfield.

Medical tests were carried out when he returned to Milan and they did not pick up the signs of any serious sort of injury for the key midfielder.

Despite this, he underwent a different training programme to the rest of the team on Thursday and is continuing to be monitored closely ahead of the match against Torino on Sunday night.

He will be looked at closely in the next training sessions before a decision is made but it is still likely that he will play.
