Inter’s postponed Serie A match against Bologna might not be fulfilled until the end of April or the beginning of May, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, it is easy to forget that Inter were supposed to play away at Bologna on January 6 but it was postponed at the last minute due to Covid cases in the Rossoblu squad.

Inter has until March 25 to appeal the decision of the sporting court and are likely to do so soon. The appeal will then likely be discussed near Easter and therefore the most probable dates to play the fixture are April 27 or May 4.

Simone Inzaghi has recently pointed out after a comment from AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli, that the postponement has been a hindrance for Inter as they were in great form at the time and it is not good to spend so long having played a game less than your rivals.
