Simone Inzaghi could opt to start the match against Torino with Matteo Darmian and Robin Gosens on the pitch, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the coach may decide to give a rest to his usual first choice wing backs who are Ivan Perisic and Denzel Dumfries.

If Robin Gosens does start the match in Piedmont, it will be his first ever start for the Nerazzurri following his move from Atalanta in the January transfer window.

Matteo Darmian did come on during the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night but he will be feeling fresh to face Torino on Sunday evening and will relish the chance to challenge Denzel Dumfries for his place in the team.

It is expected that Edin Dzeko will return to the starting eleven after sitting out the match against Liverpool in the Champions League.
