Former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli has suggested that Paulo Dybala would have already left Juventus if he really wanted to, according to a report in the Italian print media.

Speaking during an interview with Tuttosport, Alessandro Altobelli took stock of the situation around the Argentina forward and his future at Juventus.

He clearly feels that Juventus should be doing what they can to keep a player with the quality of Paulo Dybala.

“If he succeeds, Juve would do well to keep Dybala: he is a champion. He needs to be recovered. But he must feel the trust he deserves.”

He is also dubious that the player really does want to leave Juventus in the summer when his contract expires.

“I think that if he had wanted to leave, he would have already done. If he renews, there is always time to put aside misunderstandings.”

Inter are a team that are heavily linked with the Bianconeri forward but signing him would mean a restructuring of the wage budget and some player departures.

Alessandro Altobelli says he can imagine Paulo Dybala at Inter, as well as other top Italian teams.

“We talk about a player who makes a difference, always, for this we must think carefully. I can see him not only at Inter, but in any big Italian team.”

Paulo Dybala recently became annoyed by the club postponing a meeting about his new deal.
