Inter will be hoping that Sunday’s result against Torino goes the way of history as the Nerazzurri have a far superior head to head record than the Granata, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been highlighted by FCInter1908 today, Inter have won 70 of their matches against Torino every since the two clubs formed.

That is much better than the 36 that Torino have managed to win. There has been 49 draws between the two sides over the years.

Inter were the victors when the two sides met earlier this season. That game before Christmas ended 1-0 to the Nerazzurri and it was Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries who found the back of the net to give his team all three points.

Torino have had an overall positive season under Ivan Juric but they are starting to find it tough to win games. Their last victory came on January 15 against Genoa.
