Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has two main goals that he wants to achieve at Inter this season following his goal against Liverpool, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the goal against Liverpool in the Champions League was a big deal for the Argentine as he had not scored in that competition since November 2020.
Now that he has got that particular monkey off of his back, there are two things that he wants to achieve with his recent improvement in form.
He wants to end the season with a higher goals tally than in his previous seasons at Inter. His best so far is 21 so with a strong end to the campaign he can achieve that.
If he scores enough goals to beat his record, it will likely result in achieving the second goal which is to deliver another Scudetto for Inter.
