Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will not be pushing Marcelo Brozovic too hard in training on Friday as he is still being monitored ahead of the Torino match on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport on Friday, some care is being taken with the Croatian midfielder because he was taken off with an injury against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.

The medical tests that were taken when he returned to Milan did not uncover a serious injury and it is still very likely that he will start the game against Torino on Sunday evening.

That being said, the Inter coaches are taking it easy today and he will then be properly evaluated in Saturday’s session.

Simone Inzaghi has also reportedly had a chance to talk to his squad and show appreciation for their Champions League campaign this season.
