Inter legend Beppe Bergomi has said that the Serie A title race is still to play for but that Inter’s match on Sunday could be decisive, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Sky Sport, via FCInternews, Beppe Bergomi explained that the three teams at the top must be keeping an eye on Juventus who are in good form behind them.

It’s difficult, the three in front in my opinion also must be keeping an eye on Juventus.”

He then moved on to talk about Inter’s match against Torino on Sunday night in the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino which will be a tough test for Simone Inzaghi’s side having just played against Liverpool at Anfield with 10 men for half an hour.

He feels the game could be decisive in Inter’s pursuit of a second consecutive title but thinks that overall, it is still all to play for.

As for Sunday’s match against Torino, it can be decisive. After the Champions League, they face a team that can put you in difficulty, you need to match them on a physical level and show determination. We have to see how they come out of that game, everything is still to play for.”

Inter will know the results of AC Milan’s match against Empoli and Napoli’s match against Hellas Verona by the time they kick off on Sunday night.
