Inter are in pole position to secure a deal for Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer, despite interest from German champions Bayern Munich.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Brazilian has been a long-term target for the Nerazzurri and they are working to close a deal to snap him up this summer.

Bremer’s performances at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino have done enough to convince Inter and they are the clear favourites to sign him ahead of next season, having moved ahead of Bayern in the race to secure a deal.

Similarly, it was reported in yesterday’s edition of German newspaper Bild that Bayern had been keen to lure Bremer to the Bundesliga, but that Inter are the most likely destination and personal terms are close to being agreed.

Inter are yet to strike an agreement with Torino but are confident of being able to agree a fee, particularly with Bremer ready to make the switch to the Serie A champions.
