Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is expected to be available to take on Torino in Serie A tomorrow after overcoming a minor injury.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Croatia international has successfully navigated his way through individual training sessions to assess his fitness and on Saturday joined the rest of the squad in the final session before the trip to Turin.

Brozovic had pulled up during Inter’s 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday and was replaced by Roberto Gagliardini, but medical tests have ruled out any significant injury and he has been passed fit to feature at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Indeed, his presence against Torino was not considered to be in doubt by Inter’s medical staff, but they opted for a conservative approach to his treatment over the week to carefully manage his discomfort following the fixture against Liverpool.

Elsewhere, defender Stefan De Vrij remains out of contention and will most likely be replaced at the back by Danilo D’Ambrosio.
