Edin Dzeko will be a key man for Inter in attack in this evening’s Serie A clash away to Torino.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who suggest that the 35-year-old who will be the player that Simone Inzaghi relies on to cement an attacking foothold against Torino defender Bremer.

Dzeko was rested against Liverpool during Tuesday evening’s Champions League clash with Liverpool at Anfield, with Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez starting in attack, and the Bosnian did not come on as a substitute.

The Gazzetta suggests that part of the reason for this was to keep the striker fresh for this evening’s massive Serie A clash away to Torino.

The Bosnian will be expected to lead the line and give his team a point of reference in attack as the Nerazzurri aim to keep pace with AC Milan at the top of the table, and the coach sees him as a key man.
