Italian Journalist Matteo Marani: “Inter Should Not Expect A Straightforward Match Against Torino”

Italian journalist Matteo Marani believes that Inter’s Serie A clash with Torino will be a tough match and that the Nerazzurri cannot take any result for granted.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Marani emphasized that the Granata are tricky opposition, and that it should be an even match in which any result is well within the realm of possibility.

Inter were given a boost in confidence from their 1-0 win over Liverpool during the week, and they will feel that there is no opposition that they cannot cope with and impose their game on.

However, despite their midtable position in the table, the Granata have shown themselves to be a formidable side throughout the season, particularly with how they’ve played against the top teams in Serie A.

Marani feels that Torino are not to be underestimated, and that they have every chance of taking a point or even three from the Nerazzurri in a match that could have major Scudetto implications.

“Against the Granata, Inter cannot expect a straightforward match,” Marani said. “Indeed, it will be complicated, because Torino are Torino.”
