Inter will be without one of their most vital players this evening when they travel to Turin to face Torino, with Marcelo Brozovic missing the Serie A clash due to injury.

This dilemma is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, who suggest that the Nerazzurri could have a tough time coming to grips with the match in the absence of their usual holding midfielder.

Brozovic has established himself as one of Serie A’s best midfielders in his customary role at the base of a trio, and this campaign he has been one of Inter’s most important players.

The team struggled without him particularly in the first half when the Croat was suspended against Sassuolo, going on to lose that match 2-0.

Now, the Nerazzurri head into a tough away match against a team who have consistently proven that they are capable of getting results against the top sides in Serie A, and they will have to do so without the player who is usually most involved in imposing the tempo against such opposition.
